Instrument and bow search

The search for an instrument or bow is a very personal matter because every musician has different professional expectations and needs.

The luthier’s purpose when a musician is looking for an instrument is to establish a dialogue with him or her to find out what he or she wants, instrument characteristics, priorities (soloist instrument, orchestra, chamber, what sound, timbre, emission, power, etc.), or if he or she is more interested in an antique instrument or contemporary, etc.

The same process will apply if the musician is looking for a professional bow.

Once the luthier has compiled this information, he or she will make suggestions of instruments / bows and will inform the musician about the characteristics of every option presented.
